Materials for Quantum Technologies Workshop

December 11, 2023 - December 12, 2023

Workshop Overview:

The arrival of quantum technologies is set to reshape the information age. Materials, especially those tailored with specific properties, are paramount for ushering in these novel advancements. Development, synthesis, and precise modeling of materials are the core pillars for the successful implementation of future quantum technologies. Funding initiatives such as Wallenberg WACHT, WINQ, and WISE emphasize the significance of quantum materials.

This workshop aims to address the requisites and progression of materials pivotal for quantum technologies. Through discussions, collective projects, and brainstorming on innovative materials suitable for quantum processors, we strive to nurture a cooperative atmosphere. The goal is to identify and assess new potential materials that might propel the upcoming quantum devices and technologies.

By bringing together researchers, industry experts, and funding agencies, we plan to navigate the hurdles of executing quantum technologies, especially quantum computing, at a broader outlook level.
