Hey, if you're into DIY BMW coding or diagnostics, this K+DCAN USB cable is pretty much the go-to tool.

It's a 5-foot cable with a legit FTDI 232RL chip inside, so it works smoothly with all the major software like INPA, EDIABAS, NCSexpert, Rheingold, Tool32, and more—just gotta download the software separately, it's not included.

The cool part is the flip switch: flip left for K-Line (older BMWs from 1998-2007) and flip right for DCAN (newer ones from 2007-2016/2018).

It covers pretty much all the E-Series models—1, 3, 5, 6, 7, X, Z series, you name it.

Works on Windows XP through 10.
